In the Rutter Lab, we use intensive longitudinal approaches and digital tools to understand the etiological and maintaining factors of internalizing psychopathology (anxiety, depression, trauma, and related disorders) across the lifespan. We are currently investigating emotion perception, affect dynamics, cognitive control, and cognitive distortions in large web-based samples, using both experience sampling and natural language processing techniques.
